I know just how many big milestones our little ones conquer in those early years — and they absolutely deserve to be celebrated with photography that feels just as special.


At Team Spence Photography, my goal is to create natural, authentic portraits that honour these moments. Instead of the traditional “sit, smile, click” conveyor belt of regular school photo days , I focus on capturing each child exactly as they are — all the cheekiness, the charm, the curiosity, and of course, the cheesy grins.


These are the precious photographs children deserve, and the ones parents truly treasure.

Fuss Free Processes for Everyone...


  • There is no set time of year for these photoshoots, but they are particularly popular in the summer term when children are preparing to move on to school, or before Christmas.


  • Photoshoot Day is arranged with the setting, and the setting communicates this to parents, arranging for children who wouldn't usually attend that day to pop in for their photo session if they would like to.


  • There is no charge to the setting for Photoshoot Day. All I ask is that you promote it to parents and engage them in the process.


  • On Photoshoot Day, I attend the setting and spend around 5 minutes with each child to capture their images. The setting usually provides me with a list of names so that I can ensure everyone has their photo opportunity. If appropriate, we also work together to take a group shot of the children.

  • With parents permission, the setting provides me with a list of parents email addresses (one per child) to deliver the gallery link to. Alternatively, individual gallery links can be sent to the setting to forward on to parents.


  • Each parent then receives a private, secure, online gallery with their child's images through which they can view their images, and order prints, digital downloads, wall art and more through the online store attached to their gallery. Products are priced at very competitive rates. For seasonal shoots such as Christmas, there is also a range of Christmas gift options available. Payment can be made online via Card, Credit Card and Apple Pay.


  • Depending on how many children have been photographed, orders for prints will either be delivered directly to the parents from the print lab, or delivered via Team Spence Photography to the setting to be handed out. Hand delivery is preferable since it does save parents on the cost of postage from the print lab, but for larger groups of children this may not be possible due to the extra administration required.


  • Once all orders have been placed (usually a 2 week cut off), a 10% donation from the profits of the orders placed will be made back to the setting.
